Shipping policy

We want your electric bike to reach you in good shape and without surprises. This policy explains how we handle shipping, local pickup and delivery.

Where we ship

We ship across Canada. We also offer local pickup and delivery in southwestern Ontario. If you are outside Canada, get in touch before you order and we will tell you what is possible.

What shipping costs

Electric bikes ship free anywhere in Canada. Standard shipping on a bike comes up as $0 at checkout. There is no freight surcharge and no quote to wait for.

Standard shipping is free on any order of $75 or more, so a spare battery, a charger or a rear rack bought on its own ships free as well. A smaller parts order under $75 is charged the standard rate shown at checkout before you pay. An accessory ordered together with a bike goes in the same free shipment.

There is also an Express service at checkout if you want the order sooner. That one is a paid upgrade. Standard is the free one.

Processing time

The Blackrock X1 and its accessories are on pre-order and ship with the next production batch, in about 4 to 6 weeks. We will email you when your order is on the way. In-stock items are usually prepared within 1 to 2 business days. A complete bike is a large item and freight can add time, so if a shipment is going to take longer than that we will tell you rather than leave you guessing. Carrier and delivery estimates are shown at checkout.

What arrives

The bike arrives mostly assembled. The throttle is included with every bike and ships in a separate package, so do not worry if two boxes turn up.

Local pickup

You are welcome to pick your bike up in person. We will contact you when the order is ready and arrange a time.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, keep the packaging and contact us right away so we can sort out a replacement or a claim.
